iSportFest Sports Festival
iSportFest, the Festival of Sport, has a remarkable ability to mobilize federations, clubs, families, athletes, volunteers, public entities, and businesses around a popular, recreational, and participatory event. It's an event open to the whole family, with activities adapted to different ages, genders, and fitness levels.
The iSportFest project brings a European dimension, with objectives linked to social inclusion, equality, the participation of people with disabilities, young people at risk of exclusion, immigrants, women, older people and groups with fewer opportunities.
The European project also incorporates training activities, an international scientific workshop, sustainability actions, digital tools and an international cultural exchange fair.
International event
The event will have an international presence through 14 representative entities from different countries, linked to the iSportFest project, who will participate in sports, cultural, and scientific activities.
Main organizers
The University of Murcia provides academic, technical, and scientific direction for the iSportFest project. The City Councils of Murcia and Cartagena assume institutional leadership. The Union of Sports Federations of the Region of Murcia coordinates the participation of federations, sports disciplines, coaches, clubs, and introductory, exhibition, and competitive activities.
Co-financed by the European Union
The iSportFest Sports Festival is an event co-financed by the European Union, within the iSportFest – Inclusion Sport Festival project, linked to the Erasmus+ Sport program. This co-financing must be reflected in all communications, posters, signage, website, social media, press releases, accreditations, stages, and official materials of the event.
